Mikatsu has extended the warranty for its own motors

The high quality control on all production stages allows the company Mikatsu Outboards Busan to provide warranty on its products for up to 10 years. Statistically, there were less than 0.2% of registered cases of production defect during the first run on water over the last 4 years.

Mikatsu offers a really high level of production organization. Tens of thousands of water tourism and fishing enjoyers have already duly appreciated that and made Mikatsu the main engine for their travels and adventures.

The aluminum compound YDC-30 developed in Japan is used for production of the parts to the engine body, providing for great protection from corrosion. The inner and outer hollows of Mikatsu motors are zinc plated. This is another means of anti-corrosion protection. All the engines are equipped with NGK Japanese spark plugs. They stabilize the launch of the engine and improve the burning of the fuel mix. This allows for the minimized fuel consumption and increases the product’s resourse. The influence of innovative technologies is especially noticeable when it comes to the line of powerful Mikatsu motors of 150, 200 and 300 horsebacks.
